Avalon Waterways is a river cruise company owned by the Globus family of brands and offers cruises in Europe, China, Southeast Asia, South America, India and the Galápagos Islands. On all Avalon "suite ships", about 80% of all rooms are in the suite category featuring sizes of 1/3 larger than the industry's average and slide-opening wall-to-wall and floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows, beds facing the window for an absolutely unique river cruising experience. Company's clientele/customers are generally well-travelled, 55+ aged, mostly English speaking. The majority of passengers are retired Americans (~60%), Australians (~25%), also from Canada (~10%) and UK (~5%). 公司的客户一般都是旅游经验丰富的55岁以上的，大部分讲英语。大多数乘客是退休的美国人(~60%)，以及澳大利亚人(~25%)，也有来自加拿大的(~10%)和英国的(~5%)。
