The St. Regis Beijing is pleased to announce that Mr. Oliver Achatz has been appointed as General Manager.
Mr. Achatz, hailing from Germany, began his career with the Ritz-Carlton brand in 2003 at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Wolfsburg, Germany. He has worked at various Ritz-Carlton hotels throughout his career, including the Ritz-Carlton Shanghai Pudong, Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, and Ritz-Carlton Financial Street in Beijing. With over 20 years of experience in hotel operations across Germany, Indonesia, and China, Mr. Achatz has accumulated valuable work experience and possesses exceptional operational and market observation skills, as well as a deep understanding of luxury brand essence.
Prior to joining the St. Regis Beijing, Mr. Achatz served as the General Manager of the Ritz-Carlton Harbin. Under his leadership, the Ritz-Carlton Harbin successfully completed the hotel's opening preparations and created numerous remarkable experiences for its guests. Mr. Achatz has displayed excellent leadership skills in his past roles and has achieved extraordinary results in various projects. Marriott International recently announced the appointment of Cathy Chen as the General Manager of Sheraton Grand Hangzhou Wetland Park Resort, in charge of overall hotel operations and management.

Cathy is a highly accomplished and dedicated hotelier with a remarkable career spanning over two decades in the hospitality industry. Her journey commenced in 2000 with Hyatt International, where she cultivated her expertise in the Food & Beverage function and ascended to leadership roles at esteemed properties such as Grand Hyatt Shanghai, Grand Hyatt Hongkong, Grand Hyatt Macau, and Hyatt Regency Chongming. In 2019, Cathy joined Marriott International as the Market Director for Food & Beverage operations in East China. Henry Ng has been officially appointed as the new Director of Operations at the St. Regis Shanghai Jingan. He will be responsible for overseeing the management of the hotel's operation departments. With his leadership, the hotel aims to continue to provide exceptional and extraordinary experiences for high-profile guests and sophisticated travelers.

Mr. Ng, originally from Malaysia, has extensive experience in the food and beverage industry. He began his journey in 2009 at the Burj Al Arab in Dubai and joined The Ritz-Carlton Pudong, Shanghai in 2013 as a sommelier. From 2014 to 2018, he won three awards at the China Wine List Awards and served as the Chinese restaurant operations manager, leading the team to be awarded one Michelin star in both 2017 and 2018 in the Shanghai Michelin Guide. In 2019, he joined The Ritz-Carlton Nanjing as the Assistant Director of Food and Beverage, actively participating in the pre-opening preparations. With his keen perception of local cuisine and close collaboration with the culinary team, Mr. Ng led the food and beverage team to create high-quality dining experiences at The Ritz-Carlton Nanjing, showcasing his fresh energy and innovative leadership mindset. Prior to this new role, Mr. Ng was the Director of Food & Beverage in The Ritz-Carlton Nanjing.

Ms. Yang graduated from Shenzhen University, majoring in international Economics and trade. With years of hotel experience, she has held management positions in Westin, Sheraton, JW Marriott and many other brands under Marriott International. Mr. Enrico De Martino has been appointed as the Executive Sous Chef of The St. Regis Shanghai Jing’ an. He will assist the executive chef in overseeing the daily management and production operations of the hotel's culinary team.

With his exceptional culinary skills, Mr. De Martino, hailing from Italy, brings high-quality heritage with authentic cuisine to delight guests and provide them with an unparalleled dining experience. Over the course of nearly 20 years, he has traveled to and worked in various countries including China, Italy, France, Switzerland, Turkey, and Vietnam, learning from Michelin-starred restaurants in each location. These include Il Riccio, a Michelin-starred restaurant at the Capri Palace Jumeirah in Italy, and Capri, a Michelin-starred restaurant at the Le Petit Palais in Zermatt, Switzerland. The culinary profession has allowed him to fulfill his dream of traveling the world.

Mr. Weber Wang has recently been appointed as the Executive Chef of THE CHEDI Ninghai, a prestigious establishment under the Golden Union Group. With an impressive culinary career spanning over 27 years, Chef Weber Wang brings a wealth of expertise and extensive management experience to his new role. As the Executive Chef, he will be responsible for overseeing all culinary and daily kitchen operations at the hotel.

近日,宁波文化广场朗豪酒店正式任命钟华君先生担任中餐行政总厨一职,管理酒店中餐厅明阁厨房团队,把控烹饪质量,研发创新菜肴。

钟华君来自广东湛江,从厨20余载。他曾任职于多家国际酒店连锁品牌,国际化的工作与餐饮环境,开拓了他的视野,并提升了烹饪技能。钟大厨曾跟随香港师傅学习了很多传统经典粤菜,练就扎实基本功。从业以来,他精心打磨每一道菜品,力求做到正宗完美。近年来,钟华君潜心研究传统经典粤菜,在传统上突破创新,将东方美学融入菜品呈现。在加入宁波文化广场朗豪酒店之前,他在湛江民大喜来登酒店担任中餐行政总厨。
