一名美国法官周四表示，美国司法部对美国航空公司和捷蓝航空公司的反垄断诉讼将继续进行。

该案已定于 9 月 26 日进行审判。在9月于波士顿提起的诉讼中，政府要求Leo Sorokin法官命令这两家航空公司结束他们的 "东北联盟 "伙伴关系，称这将导致繁忙的东北机场的票价上涨。

该协议允许美国航空和捷蓝航空在其纽约地区和波士顿网络中销售彼此的航班，并将常旅客计划联系起来，使它们在东北地区与美国联合航空和达美航空竞争时拥有更多实力。

A US judge said on Thursday that the US Justice Department’s antitrust lawsuit against American Airlines and JetBlue Airways would go forward.

A trial in the case has been set for Sept. 26.In its lawsuit filed in September in Boston, the government asked Judge Leo Sorokin to order the airlines to end their “Northeast Alliance” partnership, saying it would lead to higher fares in busy Northeastern airports.

The agreement allows American and JetBlue to sell each other’s flights in their New York-area and Boston networks and link frequent flyer programs, giving them more muscle to compete with United Airlines and Delta Air Lines in the Northeast.

The alliance was announced in July 2020 and approved by the U.S. Transportation Department shortly before the end of the Trump administration.

American and JetBlue denied wrongdoing and asked Sorokin to dismiss the lawsuit.
