Completes Shakedown Cruise

Royal Caribbean will begin to resume cruises this week after one of their cruise ships completed a two night shakedown cruise. Quantum of the Seas returned to Singapore on November 30,2020 after completing a two night shakedown cruise.

皇家加勒比旗下的一艘邮轮完成了为期两晚的试航后，将于本周开始恢复巡游活动。海洋量子号在完成了两晚的邮轮巡航后，于11月30号返回新加坡。

Last week, Cruise Fever reported that Royal Caribbean was scheduled to resume cruises this week out of Singapore. It will be the first cruises from the cruise line since Navigator of the Seas and Mariner of the Seas departed from Florida ports on March 13, 2020.

During the test cruise, Royal Caribbean tested out their new health protocols that will be onboard the cruise ship. Onboard capacity will be limited to 50% so social distancing can take place. The ship will also offer 100% fresh, filtered air and medical grade cleaning standard will be offered on board.

Quantum of the Seas will sail short cruises without any port stops for the next four months out of Singapore. The cruise ship features a sky diving simulator,, bumper cars, robot bartenders, The North Star, and tons of entertainment and dining options.Prices start at $349 SGD per person.

In addition to paying passengers, various members of the media will also board Royal Caribbean’s first sailing in over eight months.

Quantum of the Seas was Royal Caribbean’s first Quantum class ship and was truly a groundbreaking vessel for the cruise industry.  The ship has been in service since 2014 and has sailed all around the world.
