Private Banking, 2023 Summer Placement Analyst, PWMA Pilot Apprenticeship Programme

The Pilot Apprenticeship Programme for Private Wealth Management, co-organized by The Hong Kong Monetary Authority and The Private Wealth Management Association and administered by the Hong Kong Institute of Bankers, is offering two rounds of paid summer apprenticeship with private wealth management firms in Hong Kong. Citi’s Institutional Clients Group is looking for Summer Placement Analysts to join this program onsite Citi.The Private Banking group works with individuals to help them manage their wealth and plan for their families futures. Citi’s Private Banking services are built upon three core capabilities: tailored lending to meet our clients need for liquidity; access to some of the worlds leading equity; fixed income and alternative investment managers; and an integrated holistic approach to family wealth management. Citi Private Banking also uses proprietary technologies that enable our bankers to provide a broad range of integrated strategies to clients. If none of these terms make sense right now; that’s ok! Our placement is designed to help you increase your knowledge; so whatever your degree is in we will give you the training and support you need to excel.

We provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to succeed:

We are committed to teaching you the skills you need during this 10-week program.

Your time here will look something like this:

• Coordinate with relevant parties for process review and discussions

• Keep track of the overall project status (stages of individual process reviews)

• Perform business analysis and evaluate process enhancement options

• Identify automation / semi-automation opportunities

• Prepare presentation for regular internal communication/ project update

We want to hear from you if:

• Pre-penultimate university students studying at a local Hong Kong academic institution with a graduation date of December 2024/Summer 2024
