Marriott International has appointed Matthew Zhou as the General Manager of Shenzhen Marriott Hotel Nanshanrecently. He will be fully responsible for the strategic development and operational management of the hotel. Inaddition, Matthew continues holding a role as Area General Manager of the Shenzhen market.

Matthew is a passionate hospitality veteran in the industry with more than 27 years of management experience. His journey with the Marriott group began at Sheraton Shenyang Lido Hotel and he has held various key positions with Marriott hotels across several cities,including Xiamen, Jiangyin, Hefei, and Shenzhen. His exceptional leadership abilities and international hotel management perspective have been recognized by industry participants. We look forward to the development under his leadership, as he leads the hotel team to continuously explore new opportunities and attain greater achievements.

Before his appointment, Matthew used to be the GeneralManager of The Westin Shenzhen. Under his leadership, the hotel team achieved remarkable results. Matthew was recognized with the “Great China General Manager of the Year 2021 – Premium” plus “Great China TakeCare Award 2020”. In 2021, he was appointed as the Area General Manager of Shenzhen market.

Recently, Grand Hyatt Changsha officially announced the appointment of Miss Sunny Guo as the Director of the Sales & Marketing department. After taking office, Miss Guo will be fully responsible for the overall management and strategic development of the Sales & Marketing Department.

Ms. Sunny Guo began her career in the hotel industry in 2008 and now has 16 years of experience in Sales & Marketing. In 2017, she joined in Grand Hyatt Changsha as Associate Director of Event Sales and took part in hotel pre-opening preparations.
